About FBCBM iKids

"iKids" is what we call the Children's Ministry at FBC Bay Minette. We would love for YOU to join us and become an "iKid" (intelligent kid). We are constantly having events, trips, and activities for children, and we would love to have you be a part of it! We even offer a free night of "babysitting" once-a-month, called FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE, so that parents can have time to focus on themselves for a little while. If you would like to know more information about our services, activities, trips, events, bible studies, etc., please email aparmer@fbcbm.com.

The mission statement of FBC Bay Minette is "Reaching people for Jesus...Teaching people about Jesus." The mission statement for iKids is no different. The ultimate mission for the children's ministry of FBC Bay Minette is to see kids come to know Christ, and to offer opportunites for children to grow in their faith.

Alligator Alley

On June 14, 2011, the iKids visited Alligator Alley in Summerdale!  It was VERY VERY VERY HOT but was a WHOLE LOT OF FUN!!!  The kids got to see alligators at different stages of life, and got to see "Captain Crunch!"  Some of the kids were a LOT braver than Miss Ashleigh, and touched a really long Boa Constrictor snake!  YUCK!!!

Missions Recognition!

On Wednesday night, May 18, First Baptist Church will be recognizing the children's missions groups during Prayer Meeting time.  There will be a special presentation for RAs, GAs, and Mission Friends.  Parents, we would LOVE for you to come join us for this special time of recognition!  There will be a FREE hotdog supper provided at 5:00 pm, followed by the recognition service at 6.  We hope to see you there!! :)

On May 1, 2011, our Aletheia Children's Choir presented "God of this City."  The children did a GREAT job!  The Mission Friends choir also performed, and were SO adorable!

Easter EGGstravaganza!!

On April 13, FBCBM hosted a FREE Easter EGGstravaganza for children and families of all ages.  Church members donated THOUSANDS of eggs, and we served HUNDREDS of hotdogs and drinks!  iKids were attentive as the Easter Story was presented.  Kids had a blast hunting eggs and playing in bounce houses, while parents fellowshipped with friends.  Thanks to all who offered a helping hand, invited friends, and attended this event where we remembered what Christ did for us!!!
